Q: What is the capacity of The Bel Air Banquet Room?

A: We can provide up to 250 dinner seats for your event. 

Q: How do I figure out your pricing so that I can compare it to other facilities?

A: We insist on putting together a complete quote for you. That way you know exactly what your cost is and understand our payment requirements. An important aspect of our personal service is doing the “paper work” to take with you as reference during your venue search.

Q: Who does your catering?

A: Catering Manager, and one of the company founders, Shelly Miller has been running the kitchen since The Bel Air Banquet Room opened its doors in 1995. Your event is in good hands with Shelly’s catering expertise. 

Q: Can I add some of my own decorations to the room?

A: Yes. We welcome personal touches such as candy favors or reusing your ceremony flowers in our event space. Our Basic Decorating Package is customized to your event colors and includes everything you need; all table linens, guest table centerpieces, a skirted and lighted gift table, cake table, and head table with seating up to 14, head table and cake table silk flower arrangements, head table chair covers with silver or gold sashes, customizable smart bulb lighting and accent lighting throughout the room. We also offer a Fresh Flower Upgrade to enhance your event. 

Q: Do you have any special discounts?

A: Friday events have a $300.00 Rental Rental Fee. This is a savings of $300.00 when compared to our Saturday Room Rental fee priced at $600.00. We require only that you use our catering, bar and decorating services. Also, if you are planning an event in January-March, ask about additional savings.

Q: Do you charge a per guest fee for bar services and do you require a minimum on the bar tab?

A: The only requirement is $150.00 for bartending and $150.00 for a security guard totaling $300.00 to host a cash bar. You may host an open bar tab set to your specifications, for example: Beer and Wine could be on your tab while leaving mixed drinks on a cash bar. With our moderate rates you can estimate an amount, with our help, and have your bar tab prepaid. If your prepaid tab is not reached you will be refunded any unused amount.

Q: What services does your facility offer?

A: We offer on site catering, cakes, bar services, room decorating as well as wedding invitations and chair covers.

Q: Do I need to hire a wedding planner?

A: At The Bel Air Banquet Room, we assist with much of your wedding planning and will help you every step of the way.

Q: Do you ever have more than one reception in your facility at a time?

A: Your event is our only focus on your special day. You will have a private banquet room, to yourself, to invite all of your friends and family just like it is your own home. We reserve the front door parking stall for the guests of honor in case of late arrival, from a wedding ceremony for instance, with ample parking for your guests as the surrounding businesses are usually closed during our hosted events.

Q: Are outside vendors allowed?

A: You are welcome to hire your own entertainment such as a DJ or your favorite band for your event. Although we work with wonderful local bakers to satisfy your cake needs,  this service is not required. Just arrange the delivery time with us. Wedding mints and nuts are also available through us or you may bring in your family’s favorite variety.
